OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. quick-cooking oats
1 can Angel Flake coconut

Cream the shortening, oil and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Fold in the sifted dry ingredients along with the oats and coconut. Drop by teaspoons and bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes. They will rise, but when they fall are flat looking, they are ready to take up.
