3 boxes confectioners' sugar (Dixie Crystal)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened or melted
6 drops mint (spirits or essence of peppermint, get only at drug store)
4 or 6 drops of color, if desired

Mix thoroughly 15 to 20 minutes. May need more butter if candy breaks apart. Roll out. Cut into desired shapes. Layer on wax paper, air dry for 48 to 72 hours.
