FISH--BROILED STEAKS "CHINATOWN" | |
2 lbs. fish steaks 1/4 c. soy sauce 1/4 c. orange juice 2 tbsp. ketchup 2 tbsp. salad oil 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 finely chopped clove of garlic Place fish in a single layer in a baking pan. Combine all the ingredients into a marinade. Pour it over the fish and let stand for 1 1/2 hours. Drain off marinade. Broil fish 3 inches from heat for 6 to 8 minutes or brown. Baste fish half way through the cooking process with the marinade, turn and repeat on the other side. Approximate servings: 6. |
