MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil the butter, cocoa and water; pour over flour mixture, stirring well. Beat eggs; add buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Stir into flour mixture. Pour onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

While cake is baking, bring to a boil 1 stick butter, salt, vanilla, cocoa and milk. Then add 1 box powdered sugar and nuts. Pour on the hot cake and serve.
