MRS. MAC'S POTATO SOUP 
1 pkg. frozen hash brown patties (8 to a package)
1 box instant cream of chicken soup
1 pkg. frozen chopped onions
1 pkg. (8 oz.) lean boiled ham
1 c. instant rice
14 c. water
Seasoned salt to taste

Add potato patties and onions to water in large pot. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and cook until potatoes are done. Liquid will cook down so make sure mixture doesn't get too dry. Mix all 4 envelopes of instant soup with 12 oz. warm water, slowly stir into soup pot. This will also thicken as it cooks. Add instant rice. Secret of soup is to make sure you have enough liquid to always have soup consistency. Add more water as needed!! Chop ham and add to mixture. Then taste to see if it suits your preference, as both instant soup and ham adds alot of flavor. If not, use seasoned salt to your taste.
