OPEN-FACE APPLE PIE 
6-8 apples, pared and cut
3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 unbaked pastry shell

Cover pie loosely with foil and bake in a moderate oven 1 hour. Remove foil. Bake 15 minutes longer. Serve with Cheddar cheese.
