3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. honey
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. chopped candied orange peel
1/4 c. candied chopped lemon peel

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add honey. Blend well. Add flour mixture, nuts, orange and lemon peels to creamed mix. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on greased baking sheet. Bake moderate oven 375 for 10 minutes. Makes 7 1/2 dozen.
