HONEY POUND CAKE 
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. honey
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients four times. Cream butter well. Add honey and beat until fluffy (5 minutes). Add yolk one at a time, and beat well after each addition (3 minutes for each yolk). Add flour and milk alternately and stir until butter is smooth. Beat whites until stiff but not dry. Beat in sugar and vanilla and fold into batter (2 minutes). Add chopped nuts. Pour into well greased pan (bottom lined with wax paper) and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
