HONEY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 sq. chocolate, melted
1 c. honey
1 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or other shortening
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. milk

Blend chocolate and honey over hot water, and cool to lukewarm. Sift flour with soda and salt, cream butter thoroughly, add sugar gradually and heat until light and fluffy. Add chocolate, honey mixture and vanilla, blend. Add flour, salt with milk, beating until smooth. Bake in 2 greased layer pans in oven (350 degrees) for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost to liking.
