1 c. confectionery sugar 4 tbsp. real butter 1 egg 3 to 4 tbsp. good bourbon or rum Soften butter to room temperature, add sugar and the egg. Beat well. Add whiskey to taste and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Yield 1 1/2 cups sauce for bread pudding or plum pudding. |
