HUMMINGBIRD CAKE 
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups mashed ripe bananas

Mix all ingredients well. Bake at 350°F in layers or a 9x13-inch pan for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

FROSTING:

1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mix to spreading consistency and spread on cooled cake.
