PASTA E FAGIOLI 
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce (not paste)
1 or 2 (16 oz.) cans beans - kidney, cannelloni, garbanzo, whatever your kids like
1 lb. pasta - shells are good because they "cup" and catch the beans
Olive oil
Garlic
Diced vegetables

1. Saute couple of cloves garlic in a bit of olive oil.

2. Add tomato sauce and beans and simmer while the pasta cooks. Add more liquid if necessary.

3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente. Drain pasta and mix with the sauce. Serve with grated cheese. Serves 6 to 8.
