NOODLES AND HAM | |
3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 1 1/2 c. cooked noodles 1 c. cooked peas 1 tbsp. horseradish 1 c. half and half cream 2 c. diced cooked ham 1/4 c. bread crumbs Melt 2 tbsp. butter in saucepan. Blend in flour to form a paste. Add milk, stir until smooth and thick and forms a sauce. Add cheese. Stir sauce until cheese melts. Add horseradish, peas, ham and noodles. Blend well. Pour into greased 1 quart casserole. Top mixture with bread crumbs. Dot with remaining butter. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Serves four people. |
