TUNA POLYNESIAN 
1/4 c. shortening
1 onion, chopped
1 c. rice
8 oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 c. water
10 1/2 oz. can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 (7 oz.) cans tuna, drained & flaked
1/2 c. toasted almonds
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Melt shortening in saucepan. Brown rice and onion lightly. Add pineapple and water. Bring to a boil. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover tightly. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
