2 c. meal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. oil
1 (#2) can cream corn
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
1 tsp. salt
Hot pepper (optional)

Blend in all ingredients or stir. Drop in hot oil by teaspoon.
