REECE'S FAVORITE BROWNIES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sq. Baker's unsweetened chocolate (melted) or about 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
2 eggs
Optional: some walnuts, chopped and/or chocolate chips

Melt butter (and chocolate) if using over low flame in a medium sized saucepan. When melted remove from flame. Add sugar (and cocoa, if using). Mix well with wooden spoon. Add vanilla and eggs; mix well. Add flour and mix. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 8 x 8 pan. Pour mixture into pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes (until knife inserted in center comes out clean). Don't overcook. Cool on rack about 10 minutes then turn pan onto plate to remove brownies.
