CHAR'S DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. Buttermilk
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together oil, buttermilk and egg. Sift together flour, baking soda, cocoa, sugar and salt. Add 1 cup boiling water and vanilla; mix well. Add to buttermilk mixture and beat.

Bake in 3 (8") cake pans at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean from center of cake. Fill between layers with French Frosting. Frost top and sides with Chocolate Fudge Frosting.
