SAUCE FOR SPARERIBS 
2 tbsp. butter
1 med. onion, sliced
1/2 c. celery
3/4 c. water
1 c. catsup
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Melt butter, add onions and cook until browned. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Pour over spareribs and simmer until done. This makes enough for about 3 pounds of meat.
