RED VELVET CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter, melted
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 tsp. butter flavor
2 tsp. cocoa
2 oz. red food color
2 1/3 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vinegar

Mix together. Bake at 350 degrees until done.

FILLING:

1 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour or cornstarch
1 c. milk

Mix together and cook over low heat, until thickened.
