BEEF MARINADE 
1/2 c. good red wine
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/8 c. Worcestershire
Salt and pepper to taste

Place first 5 ingredients in a saucepan and heat just enough to mix thoroughly. Pour over meat and let stand for 2 hours at room temperature. Rub salt and pepper into meat, cook at 250 to 275 degrees until meat thermometer reads 140 degrees for medium rare, or 160 degrees for well done.

This marinade can be used by putting it over the meat in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours, then rubbing salt and pepper to taste.
