ROAST CHICKEN | |
5 lbs. roasting chicken Salt Melt butter BASTING SAUCE: 3/4 c. dry white wine 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. rosemary, crushed 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/4 c. oil Rub chicken with salt; brush with melted butter. Place, breast side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Mix basting sauce; pour over chicken. Continue roasting or until chicken is tender. |
