1 c. butter
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 sm. pkg. vanilla pudding (instant)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. chocolate chips
3/4 c. nuts (optional)

Combine butter, sugars and vanilla pudding; beat until smooth. Add eggs and beat until creamy. Mix flour, soda and add to mixture. Stir in nuts and chips. Drop dough on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let stand a short time before you remove them from cookie sheet.
