SOFT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 pkg. (3 oz.) chocolate chips

Mix first 4 ingredients together, then add the egg. Add remaining dry ingredients, mixing well. Add chocolate chips. Using a teaspoon, form dough into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and press each ball with a fork.

Bake 9 minutes in a 325 to 350 degree oven. Recipe can be doubled with no problem. The amount of cookies the recipe yields depends on size.
