SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 c. celery, diced
4 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1/2 c. bell pepper, diced
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
4 oz. grated cheese (Velveeta or Longhorn)

Tear lettuce into small pieces and place in 9 x 13 inch pan. Layer rest of ingredients in order given. Add sugar to mayonnaise and spread on top, sealing well. Top with cheese and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours. COVER TIGHTLY BEFORE REFRIGERATING. I use Saran wrap.
