VEG SOUP 
2 soup bones "beef" or short ribs of beef
2 lb. stew beef, cubed
3 c. water, cook until done

Remove soup bone. Add the following: 4-5 med. potatoes, diced 1/2 med. cabbage, chopped 1 qt. cooked tomatoes 3 stalks celery Salt & pepper to taste About 1/4 c. salt 2 tbsp. black pepper 2 tbsp. hot red pepper

Simmer this mixture for about 1 hour.
