1 (20 oz.) pkg. oreo cookies 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1/2 stick (4 tbsp.) butter, softened 1 c. powdered sugar 2 (6 serving size) pkgs. instant vanilla pudding mix 3 1/2 c. milk 1 (12 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed Crush cookies (including icing centers) in food processor or blender until mixture resembles dirt. Set aside. Cream the cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar. Mix pudding mixes and milk 1 to 2 minutes, until well blended. Fold pudding mixture into cream cheese mixture with a rubber spatula. Fold in whipped topping. In an 8 to 10 inch flower pot, alternate layers of cookie crumbs and pudding cream, ending with cookie "dirt". Chill several hours or overnight before serving. Decorate with gummy worms or a plastic flower. Serve with a plastic sand pail shovel. NOTE: If using a clay or ceramic flower pot, line pot with foil because clay and ceramic glazes can container lead. Also, other containers to use can be: foil, disposable loaf pans decorated with parsley to look like an herb gardener a 13 x 9 inch pan. |
