HI - PROTEIN ENERGY BAR | |
1/2 c. butter 1 1/3 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa 1/4 c. milk 1/4 c. non-fat dry milk 1/4 c. wheat germ 1 c. unsifted whole wheat flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 2 c. (12 oz.) pkg. Reese peanut butter chips 1/2 c. raisins Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl until light and fluffy. Blend in cocoa and milk; add dry milk, wheat germ, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Beat until ingredients are thoroughly combined. Fold in peanut butter chips and raisins. Spread mixture evenly in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 18 bars. |
