1 pkg. butterscotch morsels 1 c. salted peanuts 1 c. chow mein noodles Melt the butterscotch in a double boiler on medium heat or follow directions on package for microwave. Add peanuts and stir. Add chow mein noodles and stir until mixed well. Drop by teaspoonful on aluminum foil or wax paper. Allow to harden. | |

My family has been making this since 1965. It is so easy, inexpensive and a lot of people have never had them so they make a great gift. You may see another recipe using chocolate but it's just not the same. The butterscotch is what makes these amazing!!
