FLOUR TORTILLAS 
3 c. white flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. warm water

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Work shortening in flour mixture. Add water and work into a smooth dough; let set a few minutes, cut dough into egg size pieces and roll into circle with a rolling pin. Cook on a preheated ungreased cast - iron skillet. Turn when bubbles appear on top. After cooked, wrap in tea towel.
