COTTAGE BREAD 
2 3/4 c. warm water
2 pkgs. dry yeast

3 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. Crisco
6 c. flour, gradually (about)

Cover, let rise about 30 minutes. Beat down, pour into 2 greased 1 1/2 bread pans. Let rise double. Brush with melted butter. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. I use mixer for most of this mixing.
