STRAWBERRY TOPPING 
4 c. berries
5 c. sugar
1/4 c. lemon juice

Combine berries and sugar. Let stand overnight. Bring to a rolling boil for 8 minutes - add lemon juice and boil 2 minutes. Stir occasionally while cooling. Store in deep freeze. It will not freeze so is ready to use on ice cream or whatever anytime. Keeps indefinitely.
