CORN FRITTERS 
1 lg. can corn niblets
1/2 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. corn oil

Combine all ingredients except corn oil; beat well. Stir in corn oil. Drop fritters from a tablespoon into hot oil. Fry at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes or until brown. Turn and brown other side.

NOTE: Cream-style corn may be used instead of niblets and milk omitted. Yield: 6 servings.
