PRALINE SAUCE 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. cornstarch
Dash salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 5 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens and clear. Stir in nuts, butter and vanilla. Keep warm. Ladle over ice cream balls or cake slices.
