GREEN BEANS PIQUANT 
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
1 med. onion, thinly sliced
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
4 slices bacon
3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt

In saucepan, combine beans, onion, water and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook, covered, 10-15 minutes or until beans are tender. Drain; keep warm.

Meanwhile, in skillet cook bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, reserving drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon; set aside. Add vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to drippings in skillet. Bring to boil.

Pour sauce over hot beans; sprinkle with bacon bits. Toss lightly to coat. Serve at once, tossing during serving. Makes 6 servings.
