MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
20 marshmallows or 1 1/2 c. miniature
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 c. chopped nuts

ICING:

1/4 c. butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. cocoa
5-6 tbsp. milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add cocoa. Next add unbeaten eggs. Stir in flour, vanilla and nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and place marshmallows on top. Return to oven until marshmallows puff.

Prepare icing by creaming butter, cocoa, sugar, milk and vanilla; pour onto brownies while hot. Cut into squares when cool.
