COCONUT CAKE 
1 box white cake mix, prepared and cooked as directed on box

Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes in round pans. Let cool and cut layers in half with thread.

Icing:

3 pkg. frozen coconut
1 (16 oz.) sour cream
1 1/2 c. sugar
large Cool Whip

Mix sour cream, Cool Whip and sugar. Add 1/2 package coconut. Mix well. Ice each layer and sprinkle with coconut. Assemble layers. Spread icing on top layer and sides. Sprinkle with remaining coconut (pack lightly).
