EASY-AS-PIE COOKIES | |
1 pkg. pie crust mix (for 2 crust pie) 3/4 c. presweetened cocoa 1/3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 egg 1/3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional Canned chocolate frosting Turn oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine pie crust mix, cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon and baking soda. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat with mixer on medium speed until well mixed. Stir in nuts if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool. Frost cookies with chocolate frosting. Makes about 32 cookies. |
