ERLICHMAN'S EYE-CATCHING
PEANUT-CHOCOLATE BARS
 
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. peanut butter chips

Heat oven to 375. Grease jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1).

In large mixing bowl cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add mixture to creamed ingredients. Mix well.

Stir in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Spread evenly into pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Makes about 3 dozen bars.
