GERMAN APPLE CAKE | |
5 c. peeled and sliced apples 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. cooking oil 1 c. chopped nuts 2 eggs, beaten well 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 tsp. salt 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Mix all ingredients together with a spoon. Bake in a well greased 9 x 13 Pyrex pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. FROSTING: 2 (3 oz.) cream cheese 1 lb. powdered sugar 1 cube butter, soft Beat ingredients and frost cooled cake. |
