FRESH CHERRY PIE | |
4 c. fresh or frozen pitted cherries 3 tbsp. tapioca 1 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Combine cherries, tapioca, salt, sugar and cinnamon. Let stand while pastry is being made. Fill pie shell with cherry mixture, dot with butter. Fit top crust over cherry mixture and seal edges of pie. Bake in hot oven (425 degrees) for 30-40 minutes. |
