1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 tsp. water
3 c. sifted flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add egg, water and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients. Chill dough; roll and cut into desired shapes. Decorate with candy decorates; bake at 375 degrees for about 6 to 8 minutes.
