STIR FRIED BEEF AND BROCCOLI 
1 lb. round steak, cut crosswise in thin slices
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. sherry
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. ginger
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. oil
1 bunch broccoli
1 lg. onion

Marinate steak in 1/4 cup water, soy sauce, sugar, sherry, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch 10 minutes. Drain; reserve marinade. Heat oil, add steak slices, 1/2 at a time. Stir fry until browned. Remove and set aside. Add broccoli and onion to hot skillet and stir fry 1-2 minute. Add 1/4 cup water. Cover and steam 3 minutes or until broccoli is crisp and tender. Return meat to skillet with marinade and stir fry all. Serves 4-6.
