SAUCY COUNTRY CHICKEN 
5 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 med. onion
1 fryer, cut into pieces
1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/3 c. barbecue sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Saute bacon in large skillet until partially cooked, then saute onion. Remove bacon and onion, set aside. Drain drippings from skillet, reserving two tablespoons. Brown chicken in reserved drippings. Drain excess fat. Combine cooked bacon, onion, tomatoes, barbecue sauce and sugar; pour over chicken. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
