SWEET POTATO PIE 
1 (17 oz.) can sweet potatoes, drained & mashed
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 c. milk
2/3 c. whipping cream
3 eggs
1 tbsp. bourbon
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
9 inch pastry shell

Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl; beat at low speed with mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add bourbon and next 5 ingredients; beat until blended. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes, until set. Cool. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
