1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1 c. granulated sugar
5 1/3 oz. evaporated milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat the mixture without stopping for 30 minutes. Sufficient to fill 24 Twinkie style cakes.
