1 yellow or chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. instant vanilla or chocolate pudding mix
3 eggs
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1/2 tsp. salt

Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with waxed paper. Combine all ingredients together and pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. When cool, slice in half lengthwise. Fill with filling mixture.

FILLING:

5 tbsp. flour
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Cook flour and water until thick. Cool. Add remaining ingredients and beat until thick.
