FOUR HERB BASTING SAUCE 
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. wine vinegar
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. each: basil, thyme, marjoram, savory

Combine all ingredients. Shake and pour into glass jar with screw top. Keep covered in refrigerator until needed. Stir before using to baste lamb or chicken while roasting.
