HOT CHICKEN SALAD 
2 c. cut up, cooked chicken
2 c. seasoned croutons
2 c. thinly sliced celery
1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 c. toasted sliver almonds
1 sm. onion, chopped, about 1/4 c.
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shredded process American or cheddar cheese, about 2 oz.

Mix all ingredients except cheese in ungreased 2 quart casserole or rectangular baking dish, 12x7 1/2x2 inches. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook uncovered in 350 degree oven until hot, 30 to 35 minutes.

To microwave: Mix all ingredients except cheese in 2 quart microwavable casserole. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover tightly and microwave on High (100%) 3 minutes; rotate casserole 1/2 turn. Microwave until hot, 4 to 6 minutes longer. Serves 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
