MOZZARELLA MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. tomato sauce
3/4 c. rolled oats
1 lg. onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Ground pepper
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

Combine meat with tomato sauce, oats, onion, garlic, egg and seasonings. Mix well. Place 1/4 of meat mixture into bottom of loaf pan. On top of this, lay cheese. Repeat with another layer of meat, pressing down to enclose cheese on sides and ends. Continue layering meat and cheese to make 3 layers of cheese and 4 layers of meat. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
