BLOND BROWNIES 
These are great, and makes a big batch.

1 1/2 sticks butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 box light brown sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Melt butter, add sugar and cream well. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add remaining ingredients except chocolate chips. Pour into greased 8 x 13 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter and bake at 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes. While slightly warm, cut into squares. Remove from pan when cold.
